Ask A Car Repair Question
We're pleased to announce our new feature. You can now ask a car-repair question (1996-newer vehicles only please) and we'll answer it for free.
IMPORTANT: If you know your trouble code (e.g. P0401, P0194, etc.), please use the search function at the top-right area of this page. If your code has been discussed numerous times before you likely will not get a reply. We simply get too many questions to answer the same question three times a day :-) If you've already used the search function and did not find an answer, then by all means ask us below. Thanks for understanding.
NOTE: Although we are accepting new questions it will likely take up to a week (in some cases longer) to get a reply, we are busy! If you want a faster response, I'd recommend you ask your question in the car repair forums over at OBD-Codes.com (it's free to ask questions there too). Thanks!
Please note: When we answer a question it will be posted on the vehicle manufacturer specific page. If time permits we'll respond directly by e-mail, however please check back within a few days after asking the question. Thanks!.
Privacy Statement: We collect your name, e-mail address, city state/province. We will post your name and possibly your city/state in the answer, but will never display or share your e-mail address with anyone, ever. The only time we may use the e-mail address is to respond to you directly regarding your car repair question. If you do not want to share any personal information, please do not submit a question. Thanks!
